Dr. Hussam Kujok
Hussam Kujok, M.D., graduated from the University of Damascus Faculty of Medicine, Syria, in 1994. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Fresno, one of the most prestigious institutions in the world for its leadership and innovation in the healthcare industry.
Dr. Kujok is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. After his board certification, he worked as an internist at Kaiser Permanente in Roseville, CA. Later, he served as an internist and administration consultant at Dickinson County Healthcare System.
Dr. Kujok believes in the proven best primary care practice modality, which combines outpatient and inpatient healthcare.
Continuity of Care
Dr. Kujok’s extensive experience and rigorous training enabled him to adopt this modality, care for his patients as his own family, and maintain continuity of care. Dr. Kujok is on staff and can admit patients to Sutter and Mercy hospitals. Inpatient care will be provided through the hospitalist, and Dr. Kujok will continue to coordinate his patient’s care closely.
As an Internist, Dr. Kujok is experienced in dealing with a wide variety of medical problems, which can range from simple to complex. Internal Medicine often involves diagnosing and treating patients who are suffering from multiple physical conditions at the same time.
